This was so much fun to build. As ever, Emma McKernan came up with a funky logo and some simple design rules for me to run with, and I did the rest.
You can view the store in one of three views – grid (shown above), List…
… or Crate Digger which aims to recreate the experience of just randomly digging through things and deciding whether to keep it aside or forget it. It’s a bit like Tinder for vinyl and has proved a big hit with customers.
The site was built with React on a Laravel backend, with a completely custom content management system tailored to their exact needs.
